The Rivertown Pre-school is open from 7:30am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday all year around.
- 7:30 to 9:00am: Arrival: During this early period, staff will be available to speak with parents and to receive children in clam and welcoming manner. Books, puzzles, and all centers are open for children's free play.
- 9:00am to 9:30am: Breakfast provided by the school.
- 9:30 to 10:am: Center based play.
- 10:00 to 11:00: Circle time, art projects, science, storybook reading, movement, language, math, Pottery(Monday), Gymnastics(Wednesday)
- 11:00 to 12:00: Outside playtime.
- 12:00 to 1:00: Children will have lunch in a family setting. Children brush their teeth before nap.
- 1:00 to 3:00: Nap time. Children rest on individual cots in the first hour while soothing music is played in the background. Quiet activities will be provided for those who do not fall asleep from 2:00 to 3:00
- 3:00 to 4:00: Snack will be served after rest-time materials are put away. Snack in provided by the school.
- 4:00 to 5:00: Outside play (When weather permits we are outside until 5:45).
- 5:00 to 6:00: Children will be allowed to choose an activity during free play.
- 6:00 to 6:30: Late night snack will be served and engaging activities will be made available.
